Making brand values fun and memorable.

THE OPPORTUNITY

The merger between Home Advisors and Angie’s List (now merged as Angi) brought an entirely new brand positioning, look and feel, and brand values.

With the world’s new, pandemic-induced-work-mostly-at-home culture, Angi consolidated their offices across the country. They now have three main offices in NYC, Indianapolis, and Denver.

The Denver hub was ready for a refresh, and they wanted to leverage the substantial wall space. Our task was two-part: 1) to inform the employees and passersby of the new business’ brand values and 2) to engage the space in a fun, beautiful and memorable way.

THE SOLUTION

We started by creating a series of 9 illustration and lettering pieces that made these brand values fun to look at and fun to read. Evoking joy aids in memorability, therefore enabling us to not only engage the entirety of the space but also to help align the internal team.

Let’s be real: brand values aren’t the most exciting thing in the world, and it’s often difficult to get your employees to know and care about them as much as the executive team. To cross this chasm, we focused on creating fun illustrations and typographic lockups that forced passersby to stop, read, and think at each mural.

These murals in Angi’s Denver office are as much about art as they are design. Not only do they beautify Angi’s sprawling office, but they serve the purpose of connecting visuals with themes and ideas, helping the employees retain the information at hand.
