Lettering and illustration for an art industry icon.

This 7-part series was a web and social campaign for iconic marker brand, Sharpie. Forming the 2017 Sharpie Squad, one other artist and myself created various pieces with a variety of Sharpies' products on a variety of surfaces. 

I was tasked with creating boldly original and awe-inspiring projects on a variety of surfaces to showcase the versatility of the Sharpie marker. Surfaces dawn on: map, ceramic, wood (twice), canvas, glass.

Not only functioning as proof that Sharpie markers can used on any surface, the content and message of each piece was meant to inspire the viewers to create.

Capturing instances of humanity in each piece, the viewer is able to envision themselves as the artist, and ultimately persuading their purchasing behavior.
